Beef-Stuffed Onions

Preparation Method:
Peel 6 medium to large onions. Place in 2-quart casserole with 2 tablespoons water. Micro-cook, covered, till tender, about 13 minutes, rearranging onions after 6 minutes. Drain and cool. Remove centers of onions; chop and reserve ½ cup of the onion centers.
In same 2-quart casserole crumble 1 pound ground beef. Micro-cook, covered, till meat is brown, about 5 minutes, stirring several times to break up meat. Drain off excess fat. Stir.
