Tomato Tune-Up Recipe

Items Required:
3 cups tomato juice
1 10 ½ -ounce can condensed beef broth
½ cup sliced celery
1/3 cup dry white wine (optional)
2 thin onion slices
1 bay leaf
4 whole cloves Bottled hot pepper sauce
4 thin lemon slices, halved
Preparation Method:
In a 2-quart casserole combine tomato juice, beef broth, celery, wine, onion, bay leaf, cloves, and several dashes hot pepper sauce. Micro-cook, covered, till boiling, about 10 minutes, stirring twice. Strain soup; serve in mugs or small bowls. Float a halved lemon slice in each. Makes 8 (4-ounce) servings.
