Zesty Cheese Dip Recipe
Items Required:
1 8-ounce package cream cheese
1 5-ounce jar sharp American cheese spread
1/3 cup beer
1 tablespoon snipped green onion tops
½ teaspoon prepared horseradish
¼ teaspoon dry mustard
Crackers and vegetable dippers
Preparation Method:
In a 1 quart casserole combine the cream cheese and sharp American cheese spread. Micro-cook, covered, just till softened, about 1 minute. By hand, gradually beat in the beer, onion, prepared horseradish, and dry mustard till smooth. Micro-cook, covered, until heated through, about 3 to 3 ½ minutes, stirring after each minute. Stir before serving. Serve warm with crackers and vegetables. Makes 1 ¾ cups.
