Tasty Veal Chops Recipe

Ingredients:
- 6 veal loin chops, 3/4 -inch thick
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup dry sherry
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 (4 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
Preparation Method:
Place chops in 3-quart casserole. Combine 1/4 cup water, sherry, soy sauce, marjoram and pepper; pour over chops. Cover and let stand at room temperature 1 hour; turn once. Microwave at MEDIUM HIGH (7) 20 to 22 minutes until tender; turn over after 10 minutes. Remove chops to warm platter.
Combine 1/2 cup water and cornstarch; stir until smooth. Add to cooking liquid. Microwave at HIGH (10) 3 to 4 minutes, until thickened, stirring every minute. Add mushrooms and water chestnuts. Microwave at HIGH (10) 2 to 3 minutes until hot. Spoon sauce over chops.
Total Microwave Cooking Time 25 to 29 Minutes
Makes 6 servings
