Chocolate Covered Rum Balls Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups fine vanilla water crumbs
1 cup finely chopped nuts
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup rum
6 squares semi-sweet chocolate
Preparation Method:
In mixing bowl place crumbs, nuts, butter and rum. Stir together well. Shape mixture into 1-in. balls. Refrigerate while melting chocolate.
In 1-qt. casserole place chocolate. Cover. Microwave at Low 5 to 6 Minutes, until melted. Stir. Dip balls into chocolate can be removed by holding dipped ball on a fork and tapping on side of dish so excess chocolate drops inot dish. Place on wax paper lined cookie sheet and refrigerate until set. Makes about 36 rum balls.
