Chocolate Fondue Recipe
Ingredients:
4 squares (1-oz. each) unsweetened or semi-sweet chocolate
1 cup (8-oz.) dairy half & half
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation Method:
In 1-qt. casserole place chocolate and half & half. Microwave at Medium 5 to 6 Minutes, or until chocolate melts. Stir well.
Add sugar and vanilla. Microwave at Medium 3 to 4 Minutes, or until sugar is dissolved. Serve immediately or transfer mixture to fondue pot. Serve with marshmallows, apple, pear, banana or pineapple chunks, strawberries, cherries, ladyfingers, cubes of firm pound cake or angel food cake, or cookies. Makes 2 cups of fondue.
