Marshmallow Crisp Recipe

Ingredients:

1/4 cup butter
1 pkg.(10-oz.) large marshmallows (about 40)
5cups crispy rice cereal

Preparation Method:

In 3-qt. casserole place butter. Microwave at High 1 Minute to melt. Add marshmallows. Cover. Microwave at High 2 1/2 to 3 Minutes. Remove from oven and stir until butter is melted and marshmallows are well blended. Add cereal. Stir until well coated.

Press warm mixture evenly and firmly into lightly buttered 12×8x2-in. dish. Use wax paper or buttered spatula to press firmly into an even layer. Cut into squares when cool. Makes 24 (2-in.) squares.
