Nesselrode Bavarian Recipe

Ingredients:

1 recipe Bavarian Cream (above)
1 jar (10-oz.) nesselrode fruit mixture

Preparation Method:

Into 2-qt. fluted mold, distribute about 1/4 of Bavarian cream, 1/3 of nesselrode, 1/4 cup of cream, 1/3 of nesselrode, 1/4 of cream, last of nesselrode and last 1/4 of cream on top.

(Layering technique best distributes fruit and cream.) Chill until set. Unmold onto plate which has a fairly high rim (about 1-in.). Some of nesselrode syrup will separate from bavarian upon unmolding and high rim is needed to contain Syrup. Spoon syrup over nesselrode bavarian as it is served. Makes about 8 servings.
