Nut Crunch Pastry Shell
Ingredients:

1 cup flour
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup (1/4-lb.) butter
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Preparation Method:

In small mixing bowl place flour and brown sugar. With pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Mix in nuts.

Place crumbly mixture loosely in 9-in. pie plate. Microwave at High 4 to 5 Minutes, stirring every 1 or 2 Minutes. Stir again after cooking and, if desired, reserve about 2 tablespoons crumbly mixture to garnish top of pie. Press remainder of hot crumbs into pie plate. Microwave at High 2 to 3 Minutes, until set, rotating dish 1/4 turn every minute. Cool before filling. Makes 1 (9-in.) pie shell.
