Coconut Microwave Topping Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup flaked coconut
Preparation Method:
In 1-qt. casserole blend together brown sugar, cornstarch and milk. Add butter. Microwave at High 2 Minutes, stirring after 1 minute.
Stir mixture well, then stir in coconut. Pour over cooled cake. Makes enough frosting for 2 (8-in.) round or square layers.
Coconut Nut Microwave Topping:
Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans or peanuts) along with coconut.
