Ingredients:
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 1/4 cups light brown sugar (packed)
1/2 cup dairy half & half
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation Method:
In 2 1/2-qt. casserole stir together cornstarch and brown sugar. Stir in half & half, corn syrup and salt. Add butter. Cover. Microwave at High 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 Minutes, stirring after 2 minutes, until thickened and sugar is dissolved.
Add vnailla and stir until smooth and well blended. Serve warm or cold. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
