Fishwiches

  • Item required
    1 package (8 oz.) frozen precooked breaded fish sticks
    4 hot dog buns, split and buttered Tartar sauce

    Settings: DEFROST/HIGH
    1. Place fish sticks on glass plate in spoke fashion.
    2. MICROWAVE on DEFROST for 2 MINUTES. Spread buns with tartar sauce. Place 2 fish sticks on each bun. Arrange on paper towel in oven.
    3. MICROWAVE on HIGH until heated through:
    1 fishwich — 45 to 60 SECONDS
    2 fishwiches-1 to 11/2 MINUTES 4 fishwiches — 2112 to 3 MINUTES
    TIPS A thin sliced piece of American cheese, cut the shape of the bun, can be placed on top of fish sticks in buns. Increase cooking time to 1 minute, 40 seconds or until cheese melts.
    • Fishwiches are good served with coleslaw or add some to filling after heating.
