Glazed frankfurters

Serve dips and glazed frankfurters in microwave oven-safe dishes. If they need reheating, return them to the oven at the setting used in the recipe.This “Glazed frankfurters” is a excellant food item and it is a tasty recipe too.
1 16-ounce package farnkfurters
1/4 cup vinegar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
/8 teaspoon cayenne
1 teaspoon ground cloves

Preparation method
1.Cut frankfurters diagonally into 1 1/2-inch pieces. Set aside.
2.In a large bowl blend vinegar and cornstarch.
3.Add soy sauce, water, brown sugar, honey, ginger, garlic powder, cayenne, and cloves; mix well.
4.Micro-cook, uncovered, on 100% (high) 4-6 minutes or until slightly thickened, stirring every 2 minutes.
5.Stir frankfurters into hot sauce. Micro-cook, uncovered, on 50% (medium) 7-10 minutes or until frankfurters are thoroughly heated; stir once.
Makes 40.
