Baked Bean Chili
Use amount of chili powder that suits your taste-

Items Required:

½ pound ground beef
¼ cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon chopped green pepper
1 8-ounce can pork and beans in tomato sauce
1 8-ounce can tomatoes, cut up
2 tablespoons water
1 to 1 ½ teaspoons chili powder


Preparation Method:

In a 2-quart casserole crumble ground beef. Add onion and green pepper. Micro-cook, covered, till meat is brown, about 3 to 4 minutes, stirring twice to break up meat. Drain off excess fat. Stir in undrained beans, tomatoes, chili sauce, water, chili powder, and ½ teaspoon salt. Micro-cook, uncovered, 10 minutes, stirring three times. Serve in bowls. Pass crackers, if desired. Makes 2 servings.
