Beef and Mushroom Loaf

Ingredients:

- 1 beaten egg
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 3-ounce can chopped mushrooms, drained
- ¼ cup quick-cooking rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons snipped parsley
- 1 teaspoon onion salt
- 1 pound ground beef
- ½ cup shredded sharp American Cheese (2 ounces)

Preparation Method:

In bowl combine first 6 ingredients. Add beef; mix well. In a 9-inch glass pie plate shape mixture into a a7×1-inch round loaf. Micro-cook, covered, 5 minutes; drain off fat. Micro-cook, uncovered, till done, about 2 minutes more. Sprinkle with cheese. Micro- cook till cheese melts, 45 to 60 seconds. Let stand 5 minutes; transfer to serving platter. Makes 4 servings.
