
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (1 1/4-lb.) butter
1 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 lb. walnut halves or large pieces (about 4 cups)
Preparation Method:
In 1 1/2 -qt. casserole place butter. Microwave at High 1 minute, or until melted. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon. Microwave at High 2 Minutes. Mix well to combine butter and sugar.
Add nuts and mix to coat. Microwave at High 3 to 5 Minutes. Spread out onto wax paper and cool slightly. Serve warm or cold. Makes 1 pound.

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons soft butter
1 cup (4-oz.) shredded sharp cheese
1/2 cup unsifted all-purpose flour Dash cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1 pkg .(3-oz.) hickory smoked, barbecue or cheese flavored almonds
Preparation Method:
In small mixing bowl, mix together butter and cheese until smooth. Add flour, pepper and celery seed, blending well, kneading dough with hands if necessary to form a ball.
Measure dough by level teaspoonfuls around each almond to form a ball.
Place 9 balls in a circle on each of 4 paper plates. Microwave at High 1 3/4 to 2 1/4 Minutes, rotating dish 1/4 turn after 1minute. Dough will be slightly puffy and dry when cooked. Remove from dish and cool a few minutes before serving. Repeat, cooking all cheese balls. Makes about 3 dozen cheese balls.
