Scalloped Oysters Recipe

Ingredients:
3 cans (12-oz. each) frozen oysters, thawed (about 4 cups)
3/4 cup butter, melted
2 cups fine soda cracker crumbs (about 40 small squares)
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup milk
Preparation Method:
Drain oysters, reserving 1/4 cup liquid. In small mixing bowl mix together butter and crumbs. In 10×6x2-in. dish layer 1/3 of crumb mixture, 1/2 of drained oysters, 1/2 of seasonings, then 1/3 of remaining crumbs, rest of oysters seasoning and crumbs.
Mix knife, poke 3 to 4 holes through layers so liquid goes to bottom. Microwave at High 7 Minutes. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup parsley. Rotate dish 1/2 turn. Microwave 6 to 8 Minutes, until oysters are firm when pierced with fork. Makes about 6 servings.
