Pork and Rice Orange Recipe

Use either rib or loin pork chops

Items Required:

½ cup Minute Rice
½ cup orange juice
2 tablespoons raisins
1 tablespoon water
2 teaspoons packed brown sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 pork chops, cut ½ inch thick (about 5 ounces each)
Salt
Pepper
Paprika


Preparation Method:

In 6 ½ x6 ½ x2-inch ceramic baking dish combine the rice, orange juice, raisins, water, brown sugar, ¼ teaspoon salt, and the cinnamon. Mix well. Place chops atop rice mixture; sprinkle meat with salt, pepper, and rice are done, about 9 to 10 minutes, giving dish a half turn after 5 minutes. Makes 2 servings.
